someone tell me whats wrong here. is it the lenght of the hose used? the size?

could someone PLZ post a pic of a boostcience or OEM BPV with no turkey and NO dual setup.. just a BPV.. that has no turkey

he stated its your hose size make sure everything is 1inch all around
you need to hack your injen CAI and install a 1" nipple etc its easy...

Like I said in the PM, it is your 5/8" fitting on the intake that is causing your surge. Hack that thing off, and then drill out the hole to 1". Then, weld a new 1" fitting on there. Hook the signal line to the BPV up to your brake booster, and you should be turk-free.

where did you get that red tube stuff? what is it? im using coolant hose and it's crappy.

looks like its just a 1" ID silicone hose...but I wouldn't mind picking some of that up either... +1 for where to buy...

i even heard that swimming pool stores might have nice stuff..

but i dont think it will take the heat.. transparent rubber tubing maybe?

well the one im using right now.. which is coolant hose seems to want to collapse, thus, not leaving the whole 1" pressure evacution thingy going right...

so im looking for some flexible,yet,somewhat heat resistant and not collapsable 1" tubing.

went to a local shop and bought some coolant hose but pre-formed to 45 degrees on one side and straight on the other.. this should fit well.. gonna try it tonight.

That stuff on mine is a real thick silicone. Not sure where to get it, Big Timm hooked me up with that piece when I was out in Arizona installing the MAM IC. Check out places like turbohoses if anyone wants to find some.

contact jmbaggie, he runs onlinemazdaparts.com. he should be able to help u out. just remember its oem so expect to pay more than its worth. you could always get the forge one its probaly more but it looks alot better and will hold up longer

samco also makes hoses like that, that you can bend, its ribbed. jdm sam sells samco. the non ribbed straight kind has a very small bend radius so keep that in mind.

I heard a main issue causing the surge is the ridiculous 3/4" OD piping which causes too much resistance.

I've just received my SU cold pipe (with smic n samco hot pipe) and I have my bov HKS SSQV in hand so I thought: If I can weld an flenge 1" OD on the cold pipe, change the recirculation pipe on the Injen CAI for a 1" OD too with the bov in recirculation (with the correct fitting of an 1" OD too), I should be ok.
No stalling, no compressor surge, no ghetto maf relocation, no bov noise either but I dont really mind..

I should get everything together next week and we'll see if that works well!
