I can't seem to see the blue Halo light on the Gauge cluster during daytime. I turn it all the way up, but any amount of daylight seem to overpower it.

Have you pressed the illumination button on the upper left area of the dash cluster, above the fuel gauge?

Rotating the same when the headlights are on adjusts dash lights brightness. CW brightens, CCW dims dash cluster illumination.

Yup, I try that button. I rotate it until I hear a beep, which indicates max...I think...I can see the brightness on the speedo number change, but not the blue halo. I can see the blue halo just fine at night, but in the day time, its like it wasn't even on.

Maybe the blue LED is out.
Part cost is low, but usually labor cost is high when it comes to dash cluster fixing....
If it is still under warranty, great.

no it's not out, he said he can see it at night.

I also cannot see it at the daytime. however i can see it faintly if i turn on the headlights, i'll double check when i leave work tonight.

Well, I just check the blue light at night time without turning on the headlights. The blue led is definitely on, guess its just not bright enought to see in the day time.

if it's anything like in the new 3, it's only meant to be a nighttime accent

Ya...I was wondering that samething,,,,2010 sport and don"t see it at day or night.
So its just on the GT model...was getting ready to go back with it.
