Can CX-90 silver roof rails be removed or swapped?

Anyone know if the rails can be removed for painting or swapping with a CX70 ones that are black? Not the cross bars but the actual rails. I’ve seen people vinyl wrap them but the shop the dealership uses is telling us they can’t wrap the outside portion due to the “groove” in them.

Checking in here for an update… @Fire13 did you end up wrapping, painting or swapping the rails?

Seems you can remove the rails without any major involvement (like having to remove the headliner) but it needs to be done with care and may be best if you have someone to assist.

Has anyone else done this..?
