Was it a misfire possibly? Might be dirty plugs or a bit of crud in your gas.
Changing plugs is cheap and easy, so no excuse not to do it.
Might be worth trying some intake system cleaner, too. Seafoam seems highly regarded.
Unless it starts doing it regularly, I wouldn't worry too much.

If you've got 60k on your car and have never changed the plugs, well, I'd start there.
Welcome and PLEASE don't double-post.

I know the next thread will be what plugs to get. NGK V Power like OEM. They are the best. I have tried em all, stick with what works!

Hey thanks everyone, I will change my plugs to ngk v-pwr and try a fresh tank of gas with some fuel injector cleaner. Sorry for the double post. thanks again~!

Everything that he said ^^^ lol. Welcome to the forums. And I'll reiterate what every1 else said. NGK V-Power plugs are all u'll need. And you should change them every 30K, but it's probably not a bad idea to do it sooner (15-20K), seeing as they're only 10-ish buxx for a set.

The pugs are each. You may have to wiggle and tug the wires off the plugs, but should be smooth after that. I have done fuel treatments, this is the only one that really works imo.

Seafoam rocks. The applications are amazing.

I second the Seafoam. Great stuff. If you suck it up through the brake booster line be prepared for some serious smoke. 1/3 in the brake booster, 1/3 in the gas tank, 1/3 in the crank case. I hear some say if you put it in the crank case to change the oil shortly thereafter.

oh yeah, the cool black oud of death! I forgot about that. Traitorhound and I did the Seafoam in a parking lot late one night, and we heard sirens right as the black cloud floated toward a shopping center. We ended up taking off, and leaving a black cloud behind us. It was so funny!

I got another can, and am gonna do it this weekend when I change my oil.

Yeah you are supposed to change your oil after you use Seafoam, I mean after all not all the grime are going to burn out through your exhaust...a lot of grime will go in the oil.

Yes dirty plugs can cause what you describe Djar, I'd change them..you are definitely overdue even if that isn't the problem.

Can some1 take a pic pointing out the brake booster line (sorry, b00n ;)) and which side we're supposed to unhook. Thanks.

passenger side of engine compartment, the round thing with the black hose ove rthe top that plugs down into it. That is what I used. Have one person hold it in the can, another to keep the rpms around 2500 until 1/2 can is gone. then turn off motor, let sit 5 minutes, fire it up, let it smoke, done. Do it away from neighbors.
