Just put some new eibach sportline springs on and some new 18's with a 225/35/18 tire. Just wondering if I need any camber bolts or plates to be able to get the camber back to -3degrees. I did notice some extra wear on my stock potenza on the inside of the tires. Or can the camber be adjusted within specs without the need of any plates or bolts. thanks.

If you don't have camber plates or bolts, your front camber is fixed by one of four possible positions on the top strut mount. To maximize camber/caster, the mark/dot should be in the outside forward position. Pictures and descriptions can be found on this page.

BTW, you shouldn't get anywhere near -3 degrees negative without camber plates or bolts.

Peace...(hippy)

Jesus, not -3 degrees... Unless you're me (and I'm fairly sure you're not) -3 would be hell for you.

You want MAX -1 degree... I suggest you just take it to an alignment shop and have them get you a standard tire saving street alignment.

Anything past -1 and you'll see abnormal tire wear... and lateral grip like a Nobel M12 :)

Do you have any pics with the sportlines installed? Preferably side pics. I've seen the prokit, but i'd like to see the sportline before I make a decision.

Yeah wasnt too sure thats why I was asking. And guess where I got that -3 degree camber info from. Yes of course our crappy mazda dealers. He told me that I need to get a -3 degree camber on all four wheels. So i didnt just pull that number outa my ass or nothing guess I was just misinformed by the idiots at mazda.

Oh and if you thinking about getting the sportlines. DO IT. I seriously love em. Ride quality is great and definately tell a difference in handling. Car feels more sporty with them on too. I did alot of research about the different springs out there and I must say the sportline drop definately looks the best out of the selections. Also heard that the Goldline springs give a good drop also. The sportlines also give such a nice even drop. If anything the front may be just a tad lower but I think it looks really good. not anything like the Teins though. Those are wayyyyyyy low in the front and not in the back at all. anyways got any ?'s just pm me or post it here.

Oh yeah also wondering if I do need camber bolts or can the camber be properly adjusted within specs without them? since I am now lookin to get around a -1 degree camber instead of -3
