cam questions??

How hard are cams to install? If i do install them is there anything i have to watch out for or anything specific that needs to be done? I am looking at buying the mazdaspeed cams, and yes i realize they give you a small gain however i have cash to spare, and i know most of you are saying just buy a damn turbo. Well it is currently winter here in michigan and i having enough trouble getting around after the first big storm of the year. And i am also thinking ahead of you, next may i am purchasing a turbo. But for the meantime i am just going to work on appearance such as rims, coilovers, WW skyline spoiler, and some other stuff. Anyway getting back to my main question, how hard is it to install cams, i am farely knowledged about engines, however i have never installed cams.

hmmm....It really isnt too too hard, but the main thing you need to worry about when putting them in is the timing! very very important....everything needs to line up perfectly...the way you took it off....If the timing is off you could lose your motor. I installed mine myself (first time by the way) and I will never do it again. My mechanic had to fix the timing for me...I had it way off...He told me I was lucky that I didnt bend my valves. I dont mean to scare you....but if you decide to do it, do some homework first. Good Luck
