Calling all those DVD w/lcd in-dash HU

I have decided that i am going to buy a in dash dvd player with LCD panel, what are all of you guys using, and if possible please post pics of head unit, and just a summary of audio part of the stereo.

i don't have any pics at the moment, but i have the alpine cva-1004 screen and the audiovox avd300 dvd player, which also plays mp3's and cd's. i also have my ps2 hooked up to that. i'll try to get some pictures of it tomorrow.

How is the 6500? does it do anything cool when CDs are playing? How is the functionality on it? Are the features good? How is the SQ? Sorry to ask so many silly questions, but I've been between that and the Alpine IVA-D900 for a while. The Alpine's screen is supposedly perfect, and it has Alpine's SQ....unfortunately, it also carries Alpine's price tag. :/

I know info isn't as readily available, and such, and there's very little perspective for online deals, but Eclipse has some very impressive units available. Especially with '04 units rolling around soon which will feature 2din flush-fitting 6.5" screens. Plus Who can discount Eclipse for SQ? I'm VERY likely going to wind up with one of their 2din units, possibly sooner than later if I manage to work out the parttime installing deal at the shop my friends works at and I hang around and enlighten ppl at.

any pricing info on those Eclipse AVN units, Craig? I like the idea of the Kenwood...but not the Kenwood.

Also...you think Tweeter's gonna start carrying JL's e series stuff?

I heard the eclipse screen will be around $2K with Nav built in!!!

As for the e-series, I don't know. I have a feeling they won't. I am just waiting until we get BA amps.
