Calling all MS3 sport owners

GT vs Sport

system:
i got the sport. b/c as i said before. the blose system isnt good enough for my liking plus i had to put a double din dvd/nav player in. so that would have been a waste for me.

HIDs: the OEM HIDs look like halogens compared to 5500k or 6000k bulbs which i have. also the OEM HIDs arent bright enough imo. i have 55watt ballast. so again, another waste. since thats another upgrade

Leather:
didnt want to deal with having to maintain and condition leather in another car. already have leather in my other car. the leather will wear and crack.

autowipers:
i use Rain X so dont need.

Alarm:
could use the alarm.

LED tail lights:
are badass. so im trying to find those.

so all the things i have would gotten in the GT model. moost would have been taken out and upgraded.

so there was no point for me to waste the money on a GT

Love my sport. love the cloth seats and the coloring of them. they look better than the GT seats

the way i see it. GT is only worth it if you are going to be satisfed witht he bose system, HIDs, and want leather. if not. get the sport

Knowing that I'd upgrade the stereo in either model, that took some value away from teh GT's price difference. I also found the GT seats to look odd- I like cloth or leather, not a mixture. And frankly, leather requires maintenance that I wouldn't give it, so it'd end up cracked & nasty in a few years. HID's & a trip computer are nice, but HID's can be had cheap, and frankly, I did pretty well in high school math, so the trip computer is fluff, not value.

The GT does have some cool goodies, but it's a matter of cost vs. value, and that's purely a matter of opinion. I opted to save the extra cash & look at aftermarket stereos & other goodies instead, because under the hood, the GT & Sport are the same, and that's where it matters to me.

basically you said what i said in a nutshell...agree

i fyou arent going to upgrade anything except whats on the engine. then id advice that person to get the GT.

if you are. go with the sport

I'm not going to upgrade anything but what's on the engine because I don't care about a single option the GT has and I prefer cloth seats in a performance car.

I bought the sport for the car, not the emenitys. I dont care about HID and an amp install and a 10" sub cured the need for Bose. Leather is over rated and it isnt full across the seat anyway so no difference, I also like the two tone seats in the sport. All I hear are complaints about the auto wipers so not a need to b**** about something. Sadly I bought mine before they took S plan so the price difference was noticeable between the two. 22500 OTD was WAY better than 24700.

Good Day
Bought the sport +MSCAI and MSCBE installed for $22,000 and don't miss the lights, wipers, nor the leather and what you did say about the Bose , I mean BOOST! Just Fast Enough!
Eh?

I think it all boils down to which one you get a better deal on. My dealer was willing to give me a huge discount on a Sport but not the GT. It made my decision simple.
