caliper paint color for yellow msp

i was looking to get some input towards the color of my brake calipers. i know that red looks nice, and so does the royal blue. i think i'd stay away from yellow, because i want there to be a difference, making them stand out.

the couplers that i will have on my hardpipes are a type of turquoise blue (like the floblue color from hosetechniques.com). i was thinking if i could find that color, i might try the calipers that way. if someone could photoshop it for me, that'd be tight. part of me thinks it would look good, and part of me thinks it would look absolutely flamer.

I would not paint them yellow, I agree I have a yellow MSP and would like them to stand out. Most of my piping and engine dress up is blue. I going to paint my calipers blue. i will take a picture when finished and e post it.

gunmetal sounds nice. I'm prob gonna go gloss black. Only way I'd paint mine yellow is if I pulled them and had them color matched blazing yellow.

Back when I had my yellow I really wanted to paint them to match the car. It was too difficult and expensive to get matching paint though so I never did it. I considered red too but never had the guts to follow through.

I agree, a nice black would look great. Just remember, it's your car; don't let your friend make all the decisions. (spin)

black or red. Leaning more towards red. But, red next to the 2003.5 rims....hmmmm.. not sure.

I just redid my calipers yesterday. Letting them sit today. Aluminum was the color, bright silver. I had to do the rotor hubs anyways, so I painted the works the same color.

I think either yellow or black.

first choice yellow second black... and contrary to what was said, yellow will stand out more than anything else because it will accent the color of the car and move your eye around more. just IMO
