caliper bolts ... threadlock or not ?

I will be changing my rotors next week. I read the threads and there are 2 versions of this. Should I re-install the calipers with
- Threadlock
- or no threadlock ?

What is your opinion and why. If threadlock, which brand/type ?

I just clean all the threads and retorque to specs.

They have never failed me. Otherwise I'd be dead from a track day..

use blue thread lock if you like, but it's not needed.

don't use red unless you intend to impact then off later.

I am always scared to use the red thredlock.
I saw a lot of people posting info about using red threadlock on caliper parts and it drives me crazy. I do not think we should be using this.

I found a nice chart on the permatex site that helps choose the right product for the right application.

I will definitely use the blue for that job.
Permatex Surface Insensitive Threadlocker Blue #24027.

People using the red stuff on brake parts ... good luck with your next brake job. (no)
