I recently had my AEM CAI put on. AEM said that it was made for the 2.3L MTX i have a 2.0L ATX and it fit perfect!!! so for all of you ATX owners go ahead and get one!

it fits but there was a rubbibg issue with the retun line bolt of the atx tranny...if you ever look diwn in the engine bay of a mtx vs atx fwd vehicle the tranny is realy noticable...mtx looks like there is a big section missing. After a few miles check the intake to make shure there isn't any holes in it. On other cars the plastic splash gruard rubed holes in the metal (AEM) intake...no lie. so I'm not gonna speculate how fast it will rub. check your intake soon.

As far as I know, there have not been any fitment problems with any of the MTX applictions. If it'll fit the auto, it'll fit the manual.

They used a manual to design it IIRC and injen used auto for theirs. Atx tranny sticks out foreward (GUESSTAMATE!) 4- 6 inches more foreward than the mtx. IF possible can someone take picts of the drivers side of the engine bay for an atx and then for an mtx and that way it what I say will start making a lil more sense.

anyone knows if the Injen CAI would work on the 3i, there shouldn't be a big difference in the AEM and Injen CAI, right ??
