CAI came yesterday

Whats the diameter on the pipe I want to order my K&N?

the difference I noticed between the sri and the cai was small, but still noticeable. I noticed that fuel consumption was less compared to the sri, as well as picking being smoother and a better sound. but either one is better than the stock air box. Only reason I got one was because it's hot in FL and I figured a cai would help keep the engine cooler than the sri.

I got mine yesterday and just opened the box and glanced at it this evening. The piping is smaller than my eBay short ram but that's to be figured since it has to fit through the fender well hole. The filter is a good knockoff of an Apexi filter. Compared with the real Apexi filter (had one and sent back b/c it doesn't have the right flange) it has some plasic support pieces inside which could restrict air a little. And I mean a very little. The filter element itself seems of good quality. I think I'll run it 15-20K and then chuck it for a real Apexi. Meanwhile my my Bay short ram pipes will be up in the sell area for not much. It's really a fine setup I think if you don't have uncoated headers and/or aren't in a hot climate. Then again I'm sorta talking out of my ass and I think it's better air volume than stock regardless of your situation.

No instructions in the box, but I think I'll figure it out.

Got mine today I havnt took the intake on the car apart yet or looked at it real well but what is this hole for??
Also since no one would answered this is a 2.75" pipe.

bases off the location, that is where the plug in sensor goes. It is connected to the wiring to the MAF. There should be a rubber grommet with it I think.

Yeh someone replied to my other thread its for the temp sensor I just wasnt sure havnt took my stock one apart yet.
