buzzing sound

Just wired my aftermarket HU for about a week now and I just recently noticed that when I adjust the power side mirrors I hear a buzzing sound from the speakers. It's more prominent when I move the drivers side mirror than on the passenger side...I double checked the connections and they are right on....anyone know whats causing this? Its a JVC unit if that's gonna help. Oh BTW way I didn't connect the Illumination wire.

forgot to mention that you can only hear the buzz when youre actually moving the side mirrorrs and you only hear it when the sound is low...but it still worries me...anyone?

electrical noise?? i have no idea... did you run new speaker wires or anything else or is it just a new HU and stock everthing else...??

its the same thing that makes my TV in the bedroom go all screwy when my wife uses the blender.

Dirty Power.

It wont hurt anything... it's just anoying. It's probably your ground wire for your deck or amp... but still could be your 12v constant or maybe even your ignition wire (probably not though).

To fix you couldstart with new ground wires
then run a new wire to your battery. (fused on both sides of firewall)
Buy an under-hood ground wire kit.

i only changed the HU.

i have a DIY grounding kit installed.

i connected the ground wire the the aftermarket HU to the Black wire (ground wire) of the stock wiring harness.

I'd double-check that grounding wire.

Make your own ground... and if that doesn't work, run a new line from the battery (fused).... should get rid if the noise...

the deck and power mirrors are likely creating a ground loop... so a new ground wire should break it and allow the mirrors' ground's path of least resistance not go to your head unit.

I have the same problem as you but i only hear it on FM on ALL channel . It goes with my engine , vroum vroum vroum . When i put on CD its all fine . Anyone knows the problem ?

a local tv show had a system install business mention not to keep wires close to each other. ground wire and sub wire need 2 b kept on oppisite sides of the car or one running down the middle of the car or something to that factor...

I dont have a sub or amps, the only thing i have is a piooner premier cd player .Im grounded on the factory ground wire . I tryed to ground on the frame with a 14 gauge wire ( i donno if it's good , did'n have anything bigger around ) The problem is still there . I donno if purchasing a 4 gauge wire and bolting it to the frame would do a difference ... If i unplug the ground the cd player still works and the buzzing is still there , i forgot to check if it was not working when the antenna was unplugged . That means i would ground trougth te antenna . Is that normal ? Where can i get a filter for the antenna ? if that does not work then im gonna try a bigger grounding wire to the frame if not to the battery . Could it be my alternator giving me trouble ? i Got 90 000km on my car and the alternator as never been changed a beleive . It's also random sometimes you hear it real good sometimes not . It's maybe one of ma radiator fan doing that .help please !!!!!!! (poke)
