Bush invokes 9/11 to argue for Iraq war

Great good for you...Were you there on the intial assault? Or did they tell you it was not a terrorist training camp? Why would Tommy Franks say it was when they invaded?

Terrorist camp stuff:

You have less quantifiable data to back up your points, so show me your proof...All you have given is opinion.
I posted links for every statement I made ...mostly from US Goverment Websites. Please tell me they aren't lieing again...

That's right, politics. The same reason this whole thing is a major topic yet again. Up coming elections and both sides are doing what ever they can to bash the other side to make themselves look good to reach a goal. In the repubs case, keep the majority, or in the dems case, gain more seats.
But the investigation was run by a REPUBLICAN MAJORITY Congress. So, tell me how this falls into the Dems trying to gain more seats in congress..Perhaps I am confused. (rofl)

However, isn't it interesting that its the dems are making this a partisan thing.

And Bush turned 9/11 Into a "Keep the nation Safe with REPUBLICANS"...Classless. But turnabout is fair play I guess.

Nice flawed logic. No WMDs found in country, hence everything else ever said about Iraq is obvisouly false.

Please show me where I said that... (dunno)

The 9/11 Commision never really approached the subject of aL Qaeda and Saddam or Iraq and aL Qaeda having a relationship. All they looked at was Saddam and 9/11. Simply because Saddam did not play apart in 9/11 does not automatically mean there is no connection between the two. Do you happen to knwo hwo the insurgence started in Iraq? Who is the main player in that, who is he tied to? How long was he in Iraq, prior to the war's start in 2003?

OK...you just keep thinking that. (rofl) Saddam and Al Queada were in it from the start even though there is ZERO evidence to support your claim.

Your case has been all opinion based on slanted news stories from non-exsistent news sources.

All of my links have been to US Government Websites or National News Outlets. Not RIGHT WING NEWS SITES.

Post your own flawed stories so that I too may shoot them down with my own opinion.

They are not my opinions..they are fact. No WMD, No Al Queda Connections. NEXT?
Answer these questions with truthful facts, not opinion...

Make up your mind, I the last sentence you wanted my opinion.

If there were no WMDs in Iraq, why did Saddam not allow the UN inpsectors to do there job and hamper their investigation?
Easy, He wanted to look as though he had total control of his country. let the UN in..he looks athough he is giving up. Pretty simple really. They even have a name for guys like him. Paper Dictators.

What did Saddam do with the money he received from the Oil for Food Program? It did not go to the people, as it was intended.

Ever seen pictures of his homes? Lotsa money for a gold toilet these days.

What were those camps which were labeled as terrorist training sites? Muslim Summer Camps for the Iraqi kids?

Republican Guard sites. I thought we cleared that up.

Come on. You are quick shoot me down. Go for this.

Done.

LOL! I don't need a link, the MEK now known as CAMP FALLUJAH was a training base for Republican Guard, and had 2 palaces where Saddam would kick back on his weekends. It was a nice little base, 2 swimming pools, a couple of ponds, and decent mud huts. Your link is wrong, BTW it was my home for 9 months.
I think that will suffice for a link...(first)

And thank you for serving.(first)

See, spreading this kind of crap it what's wrong with our government. While I can see the lips not insink others might really take it as truth. People that spread this are, well lets just say I don't think highly of them.

He did say that while being interviewed by Katie Couric. It's all over the news..

"I mean that a defeat in Iraq will embolden the enemy, and will provide the enemy more opportunity, to train, plan to attack us, that's what I mean. One of the hardest parts of my job is to connect Iraq to the war on terror," Mr. Bush said. "I believe it, but the American people have got to understand that a defeat in Iraq, in other words if this government there fails, the terrorists will be emboldened, the radicals will topple moderate governments. I truly believe that this is the ideological struggle of the 21st century. And the consequences for not achieving success are dire."

Now (stfu) and support this country or get the **** out... it's simple... the world is a big place. Go live somewhere else if you don't like it here. These borders are like swinging doors... they swing both ways... IN and OUT...

i totaly disagree with this. Supporting the country blindly is just ignorant, turns you into a zombie. Questioning the countries motives and speaking out is what makes this country great. you get rid of that, and you turn America into a dictatorship where you cannot question the authority without being sent off. I mean, being able to stand up for what you believe in is as American as apple pie! Remember, Dissent is the highest form of patriotism.
