Protege Rally Car
Well, its been 9 months since I was in the driver's seat. We crushed the Group 2 field... BY OVER 18 MINUTES!! We wound up 2nd 2wd car behind Doug Shephard's 350hp Neon and 15th overall ahead of a plethora of Evos and WRXs.

Very happy with the car and team's performance. Cindy was stellar as usual in the hot seat. Brian, Vicky, Bill and Dad made a great crew. All we need is "MORE POWER!" :)

Below are some links to some pictures from Maine.

Great job! Is this the first race since the wreck? If so that's on heck of a return!
Yeah, its the first time out this year. Plan to do a Lake Superior ProRally in October, too. And maybe a canadian rally in November.

Hey Lurch, glad to hear that you will be at lspr. again. Now i have someone to cheer for while i'm there

Lake Superior ProRally (or its proper name, Press On Regardless) is like homecoming to me. I started going to that rally when I was 10 years old with my dad to spectate. I chose to go to Michigan Technological University in Houghton primarily because of the rally. My freshman roomate was Chris Whiteman (who now drives for Mopar in an SRT4) and we became best friends. He got me off the trails and onto the motocross tracks. Later I got him off the bikes and into rally cars.

October in the Keweenaw Peninsula is just tradition. Its like going home.
