hey everyone, i just need some input from thoes of you ppl who have built up ur speed or kno about building it up. right now i have ingen cai, perrin fmic and corksport exhaust. what i want to end up with after im done is about 300 whp. obvuiusly im gonna get a built motor( havnt decided between ********** or mam), new injectors, mpi tuner, clutch(thinking the spec stage 2++), a GT28RS turbo. im plannng on thios order: motor, clutch, and turbo all at the same time(only running about 7 lbs of boost), then the mpi and injectors not too long after. and run the higher boost after i get the engine management. is there anything else i need or should do b4 i start running boost enough to hit 300 whp? thanks for the info.

you could buy the engine management before the turbo and use the stock turbo to its full potential. you can then buy the larger turbo when you get the funds.

I haven't heard anything bad about the act. I've had bad experience with spec though. Exedy is OEM as well.

So...the OEM MSP clutch is made by Exedy?

yea im gonna get motor mounts too seeing as how the motor is gonna be out that would be the perfect time to put em in. and i was going to get the turbo after the engine management but i have a hole in the actuatior on the stock on and from everything i have read if ur car is not 100% then its either a pain to tune the mpi or it doesnt tune right so that is my reasoning behind that one.

You can just replace the actuator.

yea, but if im gonna get a bigger turbo within a year why waste 100 bucks on a new actuator when the entire engine is gonna be out and itll prolly only be a month or so b4 i get the mpi tuner put in, it depends on how much $$ i com beack with from the desert

dont forget your stickers, those will help you get there no problem, you probably wouldnt even need the other s***.

If you are going for 300whp, this is what I would recommend:
Mental Addiciton Tubular manifold
GT28RS .86AR
Mental Addiction 3" downpipe
MicroTech EMS
550cc injectors
Built motor

With what you currently have and the parts listed above you can achieve 300whp.

when are you discontinuing the tubular manifold?

We will be dropping it before the end of this month. All orders that are placed before we drop it will be filled by the hand made way. The owner is moving the shop to it's new location and will more than likely drop it off the site when he get's back. If it's something you want, order it before it get's pulled. The lead time is 45 b-days.

which microtech are you referning to the LT-8 or the LT-10? i really dont kno much about the microtech. does that run off the maf or is there a map for it and is it obdII compliant? i say what they were trying to make it that way. that was one of the main reasons i wanted a piggyback is cuz i still gotta get the car isnspected and i dont really wanna have problems when it comes to that. thanks

I haven't seen anybody post up anything about a quaife LSD or at least a Welded stock LSD that is gunna b a must with the torque your planning on putting down
