broken z919 replaced.

i just got my car back from the dealer my z919 broke. i took it in assuming i would get a z828 since i heard kenwood stopped making them but when i got to the dealer all i had was a new z919 :mad: :mad: i read on other post that they were all out of z828's i guess this is not true.

thats wierd, my z919 was stolen in july, i finally got it fixed in December and they put a Z828 in it. the parts guy told me they only had one part number for the stereo.

im thinking some dealers send in the unit for repair while others just replace them with new ones, which is why some ppl get 828 and others get 919

it was radomly shuting off and my button 6 was stuck in. But i just got it replace a few days ago then i was driving yesterday and i heard a few bumps from the rear speakers. then after that my radio wont make a noise nothing even when on 35 nothing its totally dead!!! everything lites up but it has no sound. I called but it was 3 on a sat. now i have to wait till tom. to take it back in. this time i will demand a z828!!!!!!
