So, I had winter tires put on today and the folks at Fountain Tire happened to have a wheel lock break on them. Whatever, stuff breaks. I am trying to get them replaced through warranty since my car is 9 months old.
You would think the key would break first right? Mine broke about a quarter inch below the top of the nut all the way around. Anyone else ever have this happen to them? The lady at the dealership said a technician will have to look at it to determine if it is a defective part. I just hope they have some sense since it clearly is. I don't want to bust out the mathematics behind it.
I know its only a $40 part but I will take advantage of the warranty where ever I can.
