Broke into the 13's

Well folks. I broke into the 13s today in my MS6. Here are my slips. The temp was around 65-70 degrees. I had a half a tank of gas. 2 gallons was race fuel. 101 Unleaded and the rest BP 93. I started launching the car at 3000 rpm in the beginning. The last 2 runs I launch at 4500 rpm.

The car is still stock right now. I'm guessing after a few mods, I will get into the 100+mph and lower 1/4 times.

Well you didnt OFFICIALLY run 13's till you get another 13 sec run to back it up, but congrads anyway (first) . Im suprised you were only nailed a 1.9 60' as your best, I know Subies could attain 1.6-1.8's in the right conditions. Was there a hint of FWD wheelspin before the AWD kicked in and put the power to the rear wheels?

There was a second of wheel spin then the AWD took over. I only had 2 runs launching the car at higher RPM's. I'm pretty sure I could have gotten some better times. Remember this car weighs in at 3715 with me in it. I think what I got so far isn't to bad. I'll keep you guys posted.

ALL NHRA, and most other associations in motorsport require a 2nd run to backup the first record breaking run.

So, he really isn't that out of line for mentioning it....I've seen and had plenty of fluke runs.

I will be able to do it again. Not to worried about that. I'm use to the car now and know where to keep the rpm's at launch.
