Broke a washer nozzle

go to the junkyard & get a pair to match

(would cost you a few bucks entrance fee only, if you stuff them in your pocket) (wink)

The 03 and up Corollas and Matrix

OK, haven't gotten one of those yet. I actually looked at a couple when I got the 5.

So:

03+ Corolla
03+ Matrix
2001 - 2004 Focus

Any others? This could really help someone down the road.

You guys may want to try the Toyota ones as well, they have 3 holes instead of 2.

3 holes instead of 2???

Guess it depends on the girl...(cabpatch)

I'll keep you all updated on the nozzles...headin' to the Ford dealer today.

This is freakin exciting *subscribes*

I wish this thread was there in the summer when I replaced my CF hood with an OEM hood and had to buy the new washers from the dealership.

OK...just came back from the Ford dealer. For those playing along at home:

The left and right side are the same part #...17603. Cost me $6.63 apiece. I checked under the hood of our cars and the male end on the nozzle is shaped differently (take that comment in any direction you like (boom03) ). The Mazda one comes straight down, while it looks like the Ford one goes in toward the windshield. They needed to order them for me, so they should be here tomorrow. I'll let you know how different they look...I doubt I'll have any problems.

If it works out fine...I'll be checking out the one behind the rear spoiler. Ford makes two kinds - one for the hatchback (ZX3) and one for the wagon. But that may just wait until Spring/Summer.

Is aiming them just a matter of getting the nozzles to move? I tried moving mine w/a small safety pin the other night (it was outside and below freezing), and they didn't move at all. Just bent the pins. My drivers side nozzles spray too high, and the pass. too low.

Yeah, that's all you need to do...but it's difficult at best. When I do get them to move, they usually move waaaay too far.

Spray the ends with silicone..the rubber will soften and they will move way easier.

^These are the ford ones you're talking about, right Phil? Or did you just get the mazda ones again?
