Brand New MP3 Available in Connecticut

Hi All!

A dealer in Hamden, Connecticut (Partyka Mazda) has a brand new, blue MP3 for sale.

Now....

I looked at this car back in September 2001. The car has been on their lot since then. I chose to buy mine from another dealer because this dealer had a $1500.00 mark-up. They even had the nerve to put the mark-up on a sticker in the window next to the normal window sticker!

I offered to buy the car for the sticker price, but refused to pay the extra $1500. They told me it was absolutely non-negotiable and that they were sure they would not only sell the car, but that they would get the extra $1500. They even went the extra mile and told me that the dealers in New York were getting $2000 over sticker so $1500 was a deal!

So, if anyone is interested in this car, don't let them tell you that they just got the car in. It's been there since at least last September.

At this point they would be lucky to get the sticker! Dealerships are so naive about this stuff. There is one is Sacramento, CA too sitting on the lot for the exact same reason. Come on! the car has been out for a while now and there are already people selling them used with low mileage for way less than you would get them new. Additionally, there have been the rumors of a more powerful MP3 or something very much like it coming in 2003. If they don't accept an offer soon they're gonna have that car for a LONG time! In the end they'll end having to mark it way down just to get rid of it.

Thats funny because when I got my MP3 in Nov of '01 they wanted me to take it.I got it 1000 over invoice, which saved me a few hundred dollars They wanted to make room for all the 2002 models.I love this car.You know being from Connecticut, what fun the car is on the hutch and merit pkwy.I always have fun taking the turns in my MP3 when I am comming home from my aunts and gf house.The car just handles so damn good

I bought my blue MP3 in late Aug. About a month later they had a yellow MP3 for sale but it was 1,500 over sticker price. The sale person who sold me the car said I got mine for a deal. When I went back three months later it was still there. I wonder if the sold the car yet?

I bought my car on september 10! I will never forget and everyone knows why tragicly. I just finished showing her off to a few of my co-workers when I heard the news.
