As part of my next modification to my car I plan on upgrading the front brakes. the ultimate plan is to upgrade just the front rotors, and eventually move them to the rear (with the front calipers) and get some 4 piston calipers and even bigger front rotors down the track.
now, my question...has anyone upgraded the front brakes by getting a larger rotor and getting like an extension bracket for the calipers??? I know the oem are 259mm and i'm looking at AP racing 280mm (23mm wide slotted). doesnt sound like much of an increase but i am sure the difference will be huge. i definately dont want to just replace the front rotors with oem size so this is why i'm asking if anyone has done this yet and what brand they went for/experiences with the new rotors etc.
