Brake Rotor Question

Do a google search for Centric brake rotors (which is what those are made out of according to PG). You can get the same rotors without the slotting or drilling for $70/ea for fronts and $35/ea for rears. Probably made in china... but that's not always a bad thing. The fronts are backordered just about everywhere though. I just picked up front rotors at Advance for $47 each, and that was the lowest price I could find anywhere. I've used their Wearever rotors on my DSM's with racing pads for years with no problems. I have a set of Stoptech front rotors on backorder for almost 2 months now (still waiting), and I refuse to pay $100 each for OEM rotors (the Stoptech's were cheaper than that!), so these are going on for this brake job... I'll keep the Stoptech rotors for the next one.

If these were slotted and not drilled I would probably jump on these.

How difficult is it to change front rotors on a 2008 Tribute S six cyl. I've changed plenty of rotors but a local parts guy tried to convice me not to do it since I would need to use a bearing puller and press to protect the wheel bearing. Does he know what he's talking about?
