Brake light with no error code

hey guys

i got ABS light with error code saying right rear sensor is bad. but dont have spare money to fix it

but i also have a brake light with no error code (i believe this error light is on after i installed my HID retrofit projector )

i use H4 wiring harness and H1 projector+ H1 hid kit, the wiring harness only connects to my driver side factory H4 female plug, so passenger side H4 female plug is not connected to anything

so i wonder if thats the case of causing brake light with no error code?


is there anything else i should check?

my mechanic already checked the car for safety inspection and passed. so we come up with the only conclusion that the brake light is caused by the HID wiring.

so if its caused by the HID wiring, what do i do to clear the light? do i plug something in the passenger side H4 female plug to fool the ECU? or do i need something like reprogram the ECU blahblah?

check your brake fluid, the light will come on if its low.

if the ABS light came on with a code the BRAKE light will automatically come on too, because the ABS is a BRAKE system. the ABS code IS your BRAKE code. I have the same thing.

oh ok, then i shouldnt worry much untill i get enough money to deal with the abs sensor replacement.

i hope its just one of the sensors... heard they are expensive to replace already =,=

i did check the fluid and refilled it. seems not the fluid.

i'll get the abs checked and fix sooner later next month, hopefully it will solve both error light
