Brake Fluid Change Frequency

Does anyone have a dealer that recommends changing brake fluid every 16,000km, or 12,000 miles?
Was at my dealer this week and got pointed out a maintenance schedule that had brake fluid change at 16,000km. Other info indicates Mazda does not have a recommended brake fluid change in North America, just Europe.

I believe this to be the most bogus schedule ever produced- and this, after my 40 years working in maintenance, especially considering I live in an area that has average humidity of 25% or less.

Most other brands indicate 30,000 or 3-4 years c/o. My dealer is a stealership, and I took this up with the sales staff who agreed the number is inappropriate. What are your dealers recommending? Thanks

Specifically, vague. For Canada it shows every 4th service. The CX50 Hybrid has a nominal engine oil/filter interval of 16,000 km. Toyota drivetrain, so that fits with Toyota practices. I service at 12,000 km because I like that interval based on the weather and my driving habits. The dealer wants 8,000 km intervals. No.
So at that rate, following the manual of every 4th service interval, depending on which km is chosen it could be 32,000; 48,000; or 64,000 km.

Hence my question to determine if any other dealers than mine are attempting to steal unnecessary service $$$$ from unsuspecting customers.

So Mazda dealers are pushing brake fluid changes… but refusing to do transmission services? Strange times
