I've had my MS3 for about 6 weeks. When I hit the brakes the first time after I've start backing-up, I instantly get a moderately loud 'clunk' noise from the front brakes. This happens at very low speeds, like when backing out of the garage, etc, and only the first time I hit the brakes after starting to back-up. Once I go forward again, if I hit the brakes, no clunk. If I then back-up again and hit the brakes, I get another clunk.
To me it sounds like the front pads are shifting in the calipers, so I get a clunk the first time I hit the brakes after changing direction. But if that was the case, I would expect it when going forward again as well.
I'm going to ask the dealer about it when I have it in for the first service, but I wanted to know if this is a common thing with MS3s or am I just special?
Thanks!
