Brake caliper Compatibility

Hi,
I recently bought a 2003 MSP and the rear calipers are shot.
About 2 years ago i put re manufactured calipers on my 2002 Protege 5, and am parting that car out and scrapping it, my question is are my P5 rear calipers compatible with my MSP?

i tried looking up calipers for my car, but for some reason the part numbers don't match up?

what is the difference (if any)

Sorry I am at work, and don't have too much time to search, if anyone can point me int eh correct direction.

just seems like a waste to buy new ones if my fairly new ones are compatible

thanks

ok thanks, i did however find one caliper that had interchangable parts from protege 5 to MSP, would this be a mistake?

either way thanks for the reply, remanned calipers arent all that expensive so i may just get them for peace of mind.

FYI:
Calipers compatability
MS6 calipers are a BBK upgrade to the MSP's
Mazda 6's caliper are slightly smaller than MS6's but also a direct bolt on
Protege/MP3/Protege5 brakes are a downgrade from MSP brakes as the MSP brakes are bigger.
Mazda 626 V6 are the same brakes as the MSP except the MSP come in silver paint while the Mazda 626's is just raw black.
basically, they charge you to paint
