only pro the BOV has is sound. BPV is what the car is designed for. Running with a BOV you will definitely run rich between shifts and can cause the car to pop and stuff a lot. The car won't feel as smooth when you let off the gas in gear (run rich again). If its not adjusted right or not stiff enough it will not idle right.
With that said, I am running an HKS in VTA/bov mode because I can't get my recirc hose to fit. It's perfect at idle, and very smooth in general (probably not quite as good as the stock bpv though). It does run rich though between shifts.
Gas mileage should be the same....maybe a tiny worse (not sure), but it wont kill MPG or anything
