BOV problems

Having problems with my HKS Bov. Blows off but sort of echoes at low boost. When I hit full boost, it doesnt blow off at all. Any ideas?

do you have a dedicated vacuum line? does the bov have a screw to adjust the pressure?

Have you verified with a boost gauge that it doesn't release, or are you going off sound?

MSP -- and especially the HKS v.2 and v.3 -- dont vent well under partial boost. facts of life. and if youre running low boost (as in less than 10psi), you may not hear it blow off at WOT. use a boost gauge, or adjust it if you have a v2 or v3.

The V2 and V3 are the non-adjustable ones FYI. Sadly the only fix I have heard of requires drilling a hole in the BOV. I have a V3 that I bought new and thought it would fix the fluttering we have, but that was not the case. One way to minimize flutter is run the BOV off of your brake booster.
