So i was running my HKS in VTA for awhile but i decided to switch it back to Recirc. I couldnt find the original hose that goes from the BOV to the intake so i bought some hose at autozone and cut it to the length. After getting everything back on i took the car for a drive and it's making a wierd noise. When the BOV vents you hear a low tone swoosh. I've checked the intake and made sure there were no leaks and everything was tightened up. The only thing i can think is the hose i'm using is too small because it's 1" ID and it doesnt seem to bend smoothly. Any suggestions.

have you ever ran recirc with your CAI? you will notice some sound over stock. nothing is wrong.

yeah it kinda sounds like the one in the video. When i first got the hks it never made that noise it just sounded like the stocker only louder. but i did get a TIP installed after i ran it VTA so im guessing the TIP is making it sound different or the hose i bought. I just wanted to make sure it's nothing to worry about

I think that's the sound of air back flowing to CAI from BOV.

you know, in the CAI, there isn't any velve to prevent back flow,

so the rest of air which can't get in the inlet back flows.

I have the sound too..lol
