I have run into a problem, where both fog lights have stopped working. As far as I can tell everything else works fine.. just not the fog lights. Fuses all check out inside the car and under the hood. I hear the relay clicking as i press the fog light button to turn them on, and I can feel it click as well, but still no fog lights.. they both stopped working at the same time. I did recently install a aftermarket HU with an amp and subs, but I really dont think this has *anything* at all to do with it. please dont tell me my $30.00(@Advance Auto) relay is bad.

and on a side note, Can someone explain to me what the thing underneath the car, underneath the spare tire well is? its a black plastic thing. I discovered it when i was trying to figure out if a hitch can be mounted on out cars. (is there a hitch for our cars??).. thanks

Honestly I didn't check, I can't see how both bulbs burned out at the same exact time. how do i access them to check?

well i mean u never know what it could be...when problems come up on cars we should all think about the basics. u have to disconnect the plug unbolt the bolts behind the bumper unscrew the screw in the back of the assembly then bam.

i think i said it right...but check your connections also.

i dont think both bulbs are going to burn out at the exact same time do this take a multimeter and pull the clip off of the fog light. Then turn the fogs on and see if there is any voltage coming through to your fog lights

Those mazda geniuses.. they amaze me. I thought the low beam headlight bulb setup was stupid.. these guys used BRASS screws on the fog light housing? REALLY?! why? each fog light is now being secured by only one screw (not brass any more!). thanks guys.
