Bose Sound Quality w/ Deadening Installed

Has anyone with the Bose system installed sound deadening in the doors without upgrading any other components? I'm wondering what kind of results this would acheive. I'm getting rather annoyed with the tinny bass and rattling, however I really would rather stay away from spending money on new speakers and an amp right now. Also have you installed the sound deadening in just the front doors, all doors, or the doors and floor as well?

Fourthmeal did this.. although he was using aftermarket amps on the stock bose speakers.

His basic results.. the bose speakers are actually pretty good.. once you fully deaden the door...

Edit: He did remove the Bose speakers shortly after though...

Its cool I just won't eat for a couple weeks, drop 20, and bam I have the same MS3 but pumping way better tunes.

How about deadening tweeters? Cause I have the right mind to rip my right tweeter out of the housing, such bad sound coming out of there? Warranty issue or whatttt up?

There's no way that would affect warranty. I'm not sure what kind of results you'd see though. Tweeters don't put out frequencies that would make stuff rattle. Get some quality component speakers and an amp and then you should be able to get some crystal clear highs.

It's not a rattle. I went off my original post topic there. The right side tweeter sounds like it blew a component or something.
