Blazin' Yellow MSP
Lately my MSP has been running at 5 psi. I have not upped my boost ever, so it should be running around 6 psi should it not? It used to run around 6 psi and now it stays at 5, sometimes less. Can anyone tell my why this is?

could be a leak in the system, check all your vac hoses and charge pipes as well as the wastegate

i would check/clean ur air filter. i know when i upgraded my intake (more air) my boost went up some. so in theory with less air ur boost would go down some. sounds probible to me (lots of scotch tonight so anything sounds good)

Could also be the temp in his area, when the temp gets hotter my boost seems to be lower.

I tried a short run this morning where the air is relatively cool (around 20C), but still couldn't get pass 5 psi. (scratch)

Oh yeah, I cleaned my air filter just last night and it doesn't help either.

Wait until -20C, then try.

Yeah, I found the filter helped me a little bit but it's still running low. I installed my CAI and since then my boost has been running at about 5.5psi on average. I mean this isn't what it should be at, however it's better than 4 psi.

My boost guage normally peaks at 7psi but then drops back down to 5-6 once the wastegate opens. I have basically a stock setup. It's been a steady 90 Degrees here the last couple days so maybe when it gets colder it may hold better, but we'll see.
