Boost spike

I did the mbc and bck and im wondering what makes it spike so high, And drop so low.
Is it the mbc?
or stock bypass valve?

If you bought a MBC (Manual Boost Controller) and your asking this question, please go and take it off right now.

I'm just curious, why can't you use an MBC in the Speed3? Could this be the way to get full boost in 1st and 2nd gear?

describe what is happening exactly. what gear whay rpm wot or partial. under wot I get no spiking at all with my turbosmart mbc. stock it spiked to 19 and held 13 at 5500 now it hits 18 and holds 17ish at 5500. keep in mind that partial throttle boost will change. also you can't be flooring it in 6th at 2000 rpm cause the turbo will spool to fast and you will lean out. if your floored in 4 through 6 just keep it above 4000 rpm to be safe
