Boost Spike Help.

I get boost spike bad it will spike to almost 20 and then hold 16psi is there any reason for this. Could it be the cai or what????? please help Thanks.

What the ambient temp where you are?

Its been in the 30 20 40 50 lately but its always done that and it gets on my nervers i can hold 18 because it spikes so high

i also have the same issue wiht mine.MIne spikes at 21 and holds at 16 but then i hit boost cut.Be carefull u can **** up ur seals,Im smoking already lol.But to fix the problem u need a map clamp,it makes a hell of a diff.It fools the computer.i dont hit boost spike any more and it hols at 18lbs safely

So does a map clamp work better than the Bcd? Will the work Together or should i sell the Bcd? Are you sure thats my problem? Thanks For The Advice

Does the map clamp eliminate boost spike or cut? I wonder how high it would spike without the boost cut... Kinda nervous to remove a safety feature that would keep me from blowing my motor.
