Is there any easy way to check for a boost leak? I have tightened all my clamps and changed my vac lines from the rubber to slicone and i still am having problems.

well its this sound and the car deosn't run right and I do not in the dilly dobber is on right and that du'hicky is making a weird sound...

Any advice is apreicated...

Why does he need to give you more info, the question is if a boost leak can be detected. I would be curious to know if there is a way to do it too.

well i meant by the question was can I spray s*** somewhere and maybe if it bubbles there is a leak. THe way you check a tire.

My symptoms are sometimes when its cold I dont get boost in 1st or 2nd gear. I also get what seems to me like a fuel cut if im boosting and my boost gauge pressure is not rising. IE i hear he turbo spooling up but dont feel the power or my boost gauge rising. My car ran perfectly before fmic was installed never hit fuel cut unless it was REAL cold and i beat on it. Like 30deg. Does that help anymore?

I just wanted to know. Curiosity.

Pretz, do you know the size of your intercooler and pipes? I think my pipes are too small although i dont know if it matters. Both sides of my pipes are 2 inches and the inlet to the TB is 2.5 inches. Im wondering if this is why I am leaking.

I don't think the size of the piping would make that big of a difference in your cars boost. I just bought 2" piping from a guy who was running 7-16 psi w/ it and switching between the two regularly w/ no problems. Do you ever see a change in your boost guage when its acting up at idle? I also hear my turbo start to spool up loudly before I get any real power from it but it eventually brings the guage out of the negative. Even when your car doesn't seem to boost in 1st or 2nd can you get it to boost right in other gears.
weird how this guys piping for an acura integra w/ take little to no fabrication to get it to fit my car, maybe it was kit though.....

Ok, Im glad to hear that about the piping. My car doesnt act up at idle. Usually it boosts right in other gears unless its cold, but I can no longer run smoothly to redline that is where i start to get the bucking.

Is it possible that the front mount is putting me into fuel cut at full boost. This never happened before i got the front mount.

bucking? you ever get your A/F checked?

I just installed my AEM WB/AFR last night....

Mine stays in the 14 - 15 range at normal driving not hitting boost, but once I hit boost it goes super rich past the 11 range and of course it bounces from one end of the spectrum to the other end of the sprectrum while driving in traffic...

do you have a manual boost controller? i had a turboxs boost controller and found out that the screw inside was stripped and caused my mbc to have a boost leak and you could hear it hissing when u popped the hood

take it to someone with an obd-2 scanner and see if the pcm is adjusting the fuel trim for a vacume leak

No, i think the problem was wth my bov. I put a bpv instead. it seems to be running fine although i have not really punched since my last $485 ticket. Have not checked my air fuel. going to dyno on june 4
