boost leak after PG TIP install

i just finish instaling my PG TIP and me and my buddy went for a test ride i hit what should be full boost and only had 9-11 pounds of boost on my gauge. i got back home checked everything. All the clamps are tight and what not. i do have my stock bpv on right now but im getting my forged one back tomorrow from a friend. i was holding 15-17 lbs before the install. my mods are cp-e sri and all 3 resonatores deleted. I would check the coupler connecting the turbo. Specifically, how the end of the metal inlet is fitting in the coupler. I noticed mine wouldn't fit all the way in, so if I did, it'd kink the coupler slightly.

You don't hear any loud whining do you? Almost supercharger-like?

did u reset the ecu, check over everything you installed, including old stuff like boost tubes and bov, and give the ecu time to learn trims and stuff?

i have a fleeing it could be the cuplers im gonna drive it today as is bc i dont have time before work but i will check it out tonight. i hope thats what it is not something stupid

Did you remember to hook up the vac line to the TIP from the boost control solenoid? Are you sure you didn't disconnect the electrical plug to the solenoid when working in there?

10 pounds boost is the wastegate's base level which suggest something in the boost control area isn't working.
