boost gauge problem

I have a defi-boost gauge d-gauge series and noticed its about 7lbs to high.. At first I put it on my car and it read 12lbs of boost (bare in mind the mbc is removed from car before boost gauge install) Also it reads my car idols at 10 vac instead of 20. To top it off when I turn the car off the guage will sit at 5 lbs of boost and not 0. So I started to think maybe my car is just stupid. I took it out and had the nice guys at east coast performance install the gauge into one of there cars where they know the exact boost and again, dun, dun, dun 7lbs to high.

Anyways my question is, Can this be fixed? Can you fix a gauge like that.

You should be able to get a replacement from Defi under warranty.

I just contacted edo performance where I bought the gauge.. I hope they have my records because I just moved and the packing slip was trashed I think.
