You are one wound up wad. That is not a part or form for free install ANYWAYS.

You reaslise they charge you $85.00 if you installed a sub/amp/wires/HU by yourself....hook up on accident to your negative on your battery instead of positive. Then go to BestBuy to get it checked out. THAT IS A RIP OFF, you guys are scum for supporting this pos site. I wasn't going to bring that up but you are so convinced big companies do nothing wrong. Happened to one of my friends it could happen to you. They charged it as an amp install

And I just went on their site, and NO they don't say what it will cost. But they also do not say the free install is labor only. Billies.

There's a shop fee everywhere. When i worked at circuit city we charged 3 bucks. It's for materials and tools. When they save you $40-55 bucks worth of labor, i think paying 3-5 bucks is justifyable.

its in the sales ad, on the web site, not the online site... Bestbuy.com cant install the radio in ur car, but they do have the sales ads for the stores... flip to the carfi section in the sales ad.. big yellow box, they mention a misc fee my be charged...

plus tools are expensive man.. and bestbuy doesnt pay for them, u have to bring ur own tools for a car audio installer, he has to make a living too..

Never had a problem with either cicuit city or best buy. You are just crying because you had to pay 5 bucks. Next time find out before you assume something that says free.

well, the expensive hard to get tools are provided, and your basic tools. but most installers bring in their own box. that's what i used to do anyways, along with the people i worked with. we go through an insane amount of solder and tape in a short amount of time, 3 bucks a customer helps. shane, not sure about your statement considering the misc fee goes to the company and not the installer.

WAAA!!! freaking aye lad, quit your bloody bitching, could of done the 3min. of work yourself anyway. It's $5, yes it might be a wendy's meal, but come on...

IS there any point to this guys? for one it's 5bucks, but more than anything else, WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING LETTING BESTBUY INSTALL A STEREO?

I can assure you that they've got their legailities covered, they LOVE telling ppl installs are "free" as long as you can buy enough kits and harnesses sothat their trained chimps can play legos and make things work. and then pay into a bit of a slush fund to cover for when they screw things up and pop fuses, etc inspite of the simplicity of install.

if this thread keeps going nowhere worthwhile It'll be dealt with by one of us.
