Bodyshops suck. Check this out:

All of the DGM lips i've seen sag. I think they are just to heavy for tape. But for the color I can see a big differance. I would call the insurance company and tell them. May be they can call this guy and have him redo it, after all they payed him.

actually you dont blend onto the fenders or hood. since bumpers are usually painted off the car.unless the insurance company tells them to do it. if its a place like maaco or earl shives or whatever one of those "economical" paint/body shops they will **** your s*** up.

in person its a lot worse. its not silver, its grey. and they were supposed to blend the paint over the hood and down the fenders so you dont notice. i even held my original lip up to the new one and you could tell the difference there.

its a big dealer. they have like 10 car brands there. i dunno. took it back last night and no one said if i was supposed to get a rental so i had to drive the car home cause my fiance and i both work today. so much bs. i just want my car fixed...

No excuse for the paint not matching. The material difference can be accounted for by using a special product for the paint to adhere to the plastic and blending the fenders and hood. Dealers have bad painters. Should have gone to an independent shop. Good luck takingit back.

for some reason progressive wont pay to have the front blended. im not sure why but if it comes back again and it doesnt match im going to demand that it gets blended because its bs if it doesnt match. now the shop and progressive are fighting over who has to pay for the rental when i take the car back. fun fun...

i can't really see the difference either, to me it looks like it is mostly shadows screwing with the picture... and the lip fitment, blame mazda for that, mine fits SO bad , i have far more gaps than you do... sorry you feel your car got screwed up though, if you really feel that way i would definitly take it back and at least speak your mind to them... good luck with it all...

I looked at a yellow MSP and it didn't have any of the tell tell signs of body damage on it and the stock bumpers didn't match. Maybe it is just something that you have to live with.

I'm sorry you are going through all this ..I have been told by several people not to take anything to Jeff Wyler. Hell they called me for months after I bought my MSP-somewhere else- to ask if i wanted to buy one still lol

Even the Enterprise guy was bashing their body work last night. said it took them 4 tries to get it right and that pretty much everyone who works there is either a dumb ass, an asshole, or both, with a few exceptions. i know im not taking the car back till im happy with it thats for sure. nor will i ever go back there to buy a car or get bodywork done. oh well, live and learn, right?

WOOHOO! After a week of wondering where my car was Wyler called me this morning and told me i could come pick up. My adjuster also told that in the week that they have had it they tried painting the bumper twice more (total 3 times) and they couldnt get the color to match. i had no idea our paint was so hard to match but its silver and silver is hard to match but damn... anyway, since they couldnt get the paint to tint right to match progressive went ahead and had them blend the hood and fenders (which is what i told them to do in the first place...). the cool thing is i had a few rock chips on the edge of the hood and a nasty one about a foot up the hood that went all the way to the metal. progressive made wyler use the money that went towards the paint tinting to fix those chips and a scratch on my driver side fender. that made me happy. it just sucks that progressive had to pay to have it blended though. oh well. im going to pick it up about 5ish. ill post pics if i can! hopefully it matches this time.
