body kit install

i cant tell you guys what to do or what not to do, im just saying that one color cars with non universal body kits look a lot better than cars with mismatched panels, and kits that were made for civics.
as stated the kit is for the car and to each their own, the lip does look good on the six but i purchased the kit for the wide opening in the front to help accommodate the fmic and the other things that will eventually get tucked and moved form the engine bay so for me it has a functional side to it andFirst a ricer looks fast and has lowering springs and front lips but no horsepower where as the "money" i have spent Is all motor and a deal of a kit and im not talking gay ass oil caps and colored spark plug wires all internals and head work, so please if u wanna bash something do it somewhere else this is more of an educational thread to help with others who might need to mod their kits to fit people are reading way to in to this IM NOT ASKING FOR OPINIONS!!

7 ish i also have a 40 shot of wet nitro but im gonna drop that and use the nitro for a boost lag killer(breakn) when needed as well as a cryo2 inline air cooler (soon to come) fmic 21x24 ar.69
 
what turbo are you gonna run? a gt28 wont provide that much lag, but will go well above that psi. then you can hit the nitrous when you really need it.

and im running an eaton m62 roots type supercharger, with an electromagnetic clutch. its a v3 off of a mercedes slk 230. im unaware of my psi right now because my boost gauge is not working but when i pick one up, ill find out lol. from other people with similar mods as me, im guessing about 3 psi right now, but our motors accept boost from an sc a lot better than from a turbo for some strange reason.
 
yah the fs is a wierd beast in it self, i built the engine from the bottom up and now its dying when its warm when i let off the accelerator but only when its at normal op temp, i though it was ignition timing but i just rulled that out last night, so im gonna look into the cams i have the protege 5 intake and jspec exhaust i belive i need to retard the mechanical timing about 10 degrees, but well see this weekend weather permitting. i thought about sc verses turbo but i had a turbo from my old car that was too big so maybe going this way, i have not installed it yet cause of the ideling issue.
 
i respect you for trying a body kit! just dont go over with it, like some people do! do your thing mayne! look at me i started at 15 on my little baby and now 19 and i got s*** that 30year old people wish they had on there car! lol

no nothing when i started for the very first time yes but it was like o2 and oil pressure, i have remedied that some time ago, i wish it would just throw a code so i had something to go off of, were hitting up the ignition timing, but that wasnt it, i was able to come across some specs that corksport had and it pretty much said the jspec idled bad and japan had to retard the exhaust timing from 17deg overlap to 7 or 10 (not looking at the doc now) so were gonna throw a degree wheel on it and the cams and retard it a lil and see what that gets us for now untill my adjustable gears come in
