yah it should be, just use a little rougher sand paper for the words first then go to the finer stuff that you will use on the rest of the light, make it quicker to get the words off.
400grit should be fine for the words, 600 is fine for the rest but I would recomend 800 or higher for a really smooth finish.
Also I almost had a problem when I did mine, i did the 2 clear primer coats and then the first paint coat(i do more light coats than fewer heavy ones) and the 2nd color coat I forgot to check if the nozzle was clear and when i sprayed it puked on my headlights leaving droplets on the outside flange area.
so i had to let that dry and hit it carefully witht he 600grit again to get the tiny droplets sanded down and then put 3 more coats on of color and it came out perfect. scared me though since I thought it was gonna ruin it and I would have to sand back down to the plastic. =P
oh and i know the glare was bad, ill get more pics up tomorrow morning, I was only trying to show the painted bezels, they arent flat black but a black mica like the oem color for our cars.
