Bluish exhaust/ turbo smoking blue

well i just got home,and park the car and i smell smoke in my car. i look outside under my hood and there is excessive blue smoke from the o2 sensor/ headers area. what im thinking is my turbo seal is leaking, also there is a lot of smoke from my exhaust. i have a stock turbo, if anyone has ever had this happen to them if u can please help me out id appreciate it. fml...

Your turbo seals are most likely leaking. You have choices:

1) Replace your engine oil and install a 5W-40 synthetic oil. Another 07 owner had this happen recently and just changing to 5W-40 oil stopped the smoke. I use Shell Rotella T6.

2) You can pay for the emission upgrade at the dealer. They will change your valve cover to the new version which creates more vacuum in the crankcase at idle.

3) You can install Krankvents. I use a Krankvent on the valvecover to create a vacuum in the crankcase and havent had any smoke on my 08 (original turbo).

4) There is a company that makes an upgraded KO4 turbo for about $900. They upgrade to Garett internals (looks stock on the outside) and guarantee no smoke.

thank you man appreciate it. the bnr upgrade is what im thinking of going with, and would u know if any other stock turbo's off a stock evo for example would fit on my car? just curious
