all i know is i got drunk and ran from the cops ran down the highway for 10 minutes with the pedal to the floor. i know i saw 155.

if all your going to do is tell me how stupid i am and how i should just get rid of the car you can keep that s*** to your self.

your stupid

This one will stink soon....When its in the dumpster...Where it belongs.

DRunken Driving....Running from the cops...What a Tool.

What I dont get is how someone can get plastered, run from the cops "going 155," have a wreck, and only get ONE day in a "correctional facility." In AZ the law recently changed and you get mandatory time in tent city...and an interlock device.

One question though, when will this incident air on COPS? (rlaugh)

Seriously though, I also wonder how my thread relating to a NON-illegal incident that posed a question about mechanical issues got locked, but this thread in which poses a question about mechanical issues stemming from a DUI HIGH SPEED CHASE doesn't get locked? (uhm)

hmmm...just a friendly question so that I may be better informed of the rules around here...any mods care to elaborate?(usa)

...thats what it is, lol. Straight outta cops. I'm looking for it next time its on...

I guess its ok to talk about how one's high-speed DUI arrest in an MS6, but not ok to talk about redline issues as in my thread from last week...I guess thats how it is.

Anywho, enough flaming...the man has a question.

I have no idea what you could do to replace the turbo and save money...best bet is going to be the stock one and just buy that...don't forget the CX-7 and MS3 have the same turbo as the MS6, maybe a parted-out one of those would be the way to go(dunno)...whatever the decision you make, its going to cost a lot. Why try to save 200 and run the risk of a non-mazda part...?

Wow this thread can't possibly get worse...And I may be wrong but I think the CX-7 has a slightly smaller turbo.

ok i had an incident where i apperently gave this car more than it could handle. i blew out the clutch and flywheel which have just been replaced. but they got it back together today and it will only hold idle. will not rev what so ever they put a scan tool on it and it said turbo. thats all they remember. it has 52000 miles on so my question is one have yall heard of this issue and two whats the cheapest turbo i can put in it. stock price is 1400 but i have found garrets that offer 22psi for 1600. what do yall suggest?

ya, i heerd o dis b4. it be yo trot tingy it no wurkin ain't no terbos gonna fit yo riid so furgit it yu shud riid a bicicl

there is no DTC code for a failed/inoperative turbo. therefore, no, we have not heard of this issue before. finally, i suggest your best option is to buy a vespa so that when you drink and drive and you crash again you only kill yourself
Wow..I dont say this much...But you sir...Mr. Original Poster are an Idiot..and a liar...and dont have a clue.

Sorry..I feel better now.
Couldn't say it better myself.
am i the only person who comes on this forum just for a good laugh?
you are not alone...

Don't waste your time trying to figure out how this place is run.

for those of you who still want to help me a appreciate it. for those of you calling me a tool and a dumbass yall are correct. it was the dumbest thing i have ever done i put lives at risk. one nail in the road could have killed several and nothing i can say will truely let you know the regret i have over that night. and to answer the question about the one night stay. they had to hold me for 6 hours then i go to court where they will tell me how much more time i have to do. not to mention the fact im driving an 82 3/4 ton pickup without air in memphis. and no you wont see it on cops ive seen the film you cant see my car during the pursuit and when he caught up my car was stopped. ive got the car back now. its depressing to see it just parked. the car will crank and idle but it idles at 600 rpms. if you floor the throttle and crank it, it will stay at 700 rpms if you just crank it with no throttle it stays at 600 rpms. if you ease into the throttle it just dies. almost like it boggs out and dies. would that be because its running really rich for a turbo that isnt burning the excess fuel? im at a complete loss. i completly understand those of you who dont want to help me under the circumstances but i really need to help. i dont know what to do. i wish i could just get out of the car but with this market and how upside down i am on a car that doesnt run that isnt the option at this moment

are there any things i can try to trobleshoot to see if it the turbo or if there is a completly different component at fault all together. the shop i had it in didnt know what they were doing

I don't even understand what that means. What does "floor the throttle and crank it" mean? You mean you're holding the throttle down with the car off and then turning the ignition on?
And "if you ease into the throttle it just dies", at which point? With the car in gear, the car in neutral?
The turbo doesn't burn fuel, it pushes air. The car runs rich by design.

yes i hold the peddle to the floor start the car while continuing to hold the peddle to the floor and it will run at 700 rpms. then i can release the peddle completly and it drops to 600 rpms. but if i ease back into the throttle after it its 700 rpms it just dies.

Yeah, we CX-7 owners are cursed with a smaller turbo.

There is no scanner that will say "turbo" as a problem. Even if your turbo was toast it would still run and drive. Cats could be clogged, the direct injection system fuggled from lack of fuel, or the engine just plain toast.

Sounds like a throttle position sensor. If it's running rich it would detonate or knock.

Pull any codes yet? Sounds like a limp mode.

Should turn the key and it will idle higher for the warm-up period before dropping down to 1k
