Blow off valve question

Ok, ... so I'm new to the turbo/tuner world, and don't know much about what is available.

I just read somewhere about an electronically controlled blow off valve. The benefits being, that it doesn't "leak" pressure up to the desired pressure, it just vents when the desired pressure has been reached.

My question to y'all is, ...

Is there a particular aftermarket ECU that will handle this? Is there a turbo related "computer/ecu" that will handle everything that is needed in a turbo setup?

(again I'm new at this so)
things like boost level controls, blow off valve control, and maybe even act as a turbo timer?

Although many OEM BOV's do leak when you raise your boost beyond certain factory specifications...any properly functioning BOV should not be "leaking" any pressure unless you are exceeding pressure level that it was designed for. If it were "leaking" before the desired blow-off pressure is acheived then you would have inaccurate boost pressure readings and not be getting prime performance out of your setup.

This electronically controlled BOV sounds fishy because of that...I am more old school...I like using actual vacuum lines for my turbo setups...including boost control...

Sorry for not answereing your actual question though.
