Blow off valve problem

I installed my turboxs bov today. Have to say so far so good except for one problem, the vaccum hose keeps getting what looks to be sliced off. There's a cover for some sort of coolng pipe ( I thnk) that's near the airbox. And it keeps on slcing the hose. Is there anything other people have done, or is this the first problem like this? What should I do. Had to replace the hose a few times since this afternoon.

Best solution is to put the stock BPV back on. lol.

Joking aside, you'd be better served by getting rid of the stock airbox anyway and going with a good CAI or SRI. You'd pick up power with that mod, and get none from a BOV. At least that would free up space under the hood for your BOV and its hoses.

If you are going to run a BOV, do yourself a huge favor and run it in full recirc mode, or your AFR's will go rich as hell (even more than they already are), if you are venting already metered air back to atmosphere rather than feeding it to the engine.

and if you dont hvae the money for an intake just yet, just buy longer tubing and reroute it.

You can put some sort of cushion on the sharp part ? Stick some heat resistant tape over it or something.

My last bov had a leak the spring with broke so I have the HKS thats the bov I should have bought in the first place.
