blow off valve ?? help ??

(bang) i'm trying to buy an hks BOv next month since i'm getting sick and tired of gti an evos plurgin their turbo on stoplights, even thogh i kill the gti's an comes close to the evo... anyways...i just purchased the ms3 and my dealership in NJ gave me a lifetime warranty on powertrain since i bought the ms3 on 4th of july...if i install the bov, is my warranty on powertrain gonna be affected ???? plzzz anyone know bout mods an waranties ???(direct)

i dont think so...unless the problem that arises with the vehicle are because of the aftermarket part. i may be wrong tho but if something did happen, you can always take it off.

I took mine in with the CAI and TT that i installed cause my car was having problems. Them didnt care. They said good its a good idea to get the TT and then said the CAI sounds good! Then asked if i had the stock BOV, i said yes then he told me most guys get those right away. He eevn told me when he fixes my stock motor mounts that he would install my AWR mount... So I would worry about something like that. PLUS like mikeski said take it off if you think the problem was from the BOV.

just to add, anyone knows hoto install a BOV... andhow long does it take..is it just plug and play ??

Takes 2 10mm bolts to undo, than a pair of pliers to grasps the hose clips.. Yank off the stocker and put on the new one. Dont torque it dont to hard. Get both bolts snug evenly, than a 1/4 turn each after.

The Forge reserc valve it a direct swap. I would want to swap to stock for any weird warranty issues just so they can't blame that. They can't void your warranty but, they can deny the claim for reasons of modifications.
