Can any one tell me what if anything goes in the hole where the arrow is pointing to in the pic? It is the bottom side of the block right by the oil pick up tube.

or does any one have a pic of the bottom part of the block they can put up to help me out?

If that is a small snap ring in there i see it is the oil pressure relief spring/plunger assy.

So does it just stay open like that then or does something go there?
