So around 3pm or so today I started to install my TT and I wanted to make a custom housing for it because it has a boost gauge built in as well. So I wanted it on my steering wheel cover. With the experience I have with custom sub enclosures and other glass work I wanted to mold to the steering wheel cover.
Mackdaddy TT
Masking tape, foil, C/A Glue, grill cloth, and good old resin. (looks messy)
Bondo-Glass or Dura-Glass and lots of sanding by hand ( friend borrowed my DA Sander :mad
Trusty ol filler primer, ya gotta love this stuff.
I will finish it up tomorrow and post the final pics. Pretty much need to paint it and bam its done. Going to get some flat black textured paint in the morning.
And the reason I painted the turbo timer is to make it blend with the housing.
(got an idea for a custom dash hawk mount too (evil))
