Blitz DCTT turbo timer install writeup....

i know this thread is old. i am currantly trying to install my blitz dctt. from what i have herd it sounds like i will need to cut the three prong connector off of the blitz supplied harness and tap into the ignition harness?

if i follow the writeup from the first post should everything work fine? are there any grimlins that may arise if i tap into the same exact wires?

very good write up, everything worked great!

the only thing is the remote lock does not work while the timer is counting down. is there a way to fix this?

Cut blue white wire at keyless module. It basically behind your back seats, you have to lower your back seats, take off the pushpins under the tray. It should be almost dead center underneath the plastic. Cut the blue and white wire and tape up the ends. Heres a picture of the location http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=39687 Make sure its the BLUE AND WHITE wire, there are 3 blue wires there and theres a blue and grey one, so dont get them confused.

Then underneath the dash on the drivers side theres the alarm module. Cut the pin 6 orange wire at the alarm brain 2 inches up (diagram on bottom of alarm) then take the alarm side of the wire (the side of the wire still connected to the alarm) and tap it into the thick black orange wire coming out of the alarm harness. Then tape up the car side of the orange wire.

sorry bringing back an old thread but I need some help installing this turbo timer I just picked up. I have read and looked at all the pics on this webpage (http://church56.tripod.com/blitz.html) but which wires connect to the black/white, red and blue wires in the cars wiring harness. On my TT brain, I have a blue/red wire, red/red wire, green/red wire, and a black twisted wire that is two wires twisted together. I also have a small purple wire which I believe goes to the parking brake wire. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

yeah it probably does but I picked it up from another user on the forum here and it didn't include any instructions or other information. I checked the website and couldn't find anything useful. Thanks for the info though.
